NABA Austin Cen-Tex Accounting and Career Awareness Program opens enrollment for its summer high school residency program. 40-50 high school students from around the state of Texas will learn the wonders of accounting and business. Professional members are asked to serve on the “speed interview” portion of the Accounting Career Awareness Program onTuesday, July 13th from 11-1pm at the McCombs school of the University of Texas at Austin. This is a time when the students ask you questions about your career and college life and we switch students every 10 minutes or so. 8/5/2010 Austin Small Business Development Program is busily preparing for our largest event, Meet the Lender, business loan fair. The 7th annual event will take place at Palmer Events Center on Thursday, August 5th from 3:00 - 7:00 PM. It's a great opportunity for aspiring and existing small business owners to start a relationship with area lenders who work with small businesses.  And attendees can register for two no-cost educational sessions, BizAid Orientation and BizOpen Orientation by visiting www.AustinSmallBiz.org or by calling 512.974.7800.
